Bad breath causes; The problem of halitosis is quite common in today’s world and is often a matter of embarrassment. A bad breath or a stinking mouth can leave an awful impression, and everybody wants to avoid it. Read more about the bad breath causes and its remedies.

Several temporary measures such as mouthwash or mouth sprays are available, which give you a quick fix, but it’s certainly not a permanent one. 

Maintaining good dental hygiene and regularly brushing your teeth at least in the morning and before you sleep can help you come out of these issues. Also include the habit of dental floss. Water flossers are excellent and provide an ultimate cleaning experience for you.

Factors or causes causing bad breath

  1. Poor Dental Hygiene: this is one of the common causes of halitosis. Dental hygiene has a long way to go in keeping your dental health and preventing bad breath. Not brushing your teeth can develop bacteria in your teeth. Your tongue can also trap bacteria that would produce orders if you have dentures; they need cleaning regularly; should avoid the accumulation of food within the pockets.
  2. Medications: some of the medications also cause bad breath. Is there a medication that you regularly take if yes, make sure that you mention this to your dentist to get to know if that’s the cause.
  3. Infections in your mouth: any infection in the mouth should need priority treatment. Mouth-related infections can be a severe cause of halitosis. 
  4. Other causes: There can be other causes of bad breath such as some disease or maybe a metabolic disorder that can also cause distinctive breath due to the chemicals produced by stomach acids. Bad breath in infants and kids can also happen of a food particle stuck in the nostril. 

Do not ignore the bad breath in your mouth as a first step; start taking care of your dental hygiene before you plan for a dental appointment.
